A Man And Cooking

Yes, I know it’s funny but a man can adjust to about
anything when it comes to the food he eats.
Never seemed to mean a lot to me but when I was
suddenly all alone and doing my own “cooking”,
I found out soon how easy it was to get vast enjoyment
out of a frozen micro-waved chicken pot pie.

It only took me a few weeks to figure out just how long it
took to leave it in the Micro after completely destroying my
first Microwave by leaving the Pot Pie cooking for an hour.
After that it was just a hit and miss thing until I figured out
how to finally have my delicious dinner without it dripping
like water through the fork I was using.

Now that’s the Pot Pie, but boy when I advanced into the
Mexican dinner area I was up against a whole new set of
rules dealing with time and adjusting heat. A week or so and
I had it though and on Monday it was Chicken Pot Pie with
Tuesday being the Mexican Dinner. Wednesday? Well I think
you can guess what the pattern was for the remainder of the week.

But then along came the stuffed Bell Pepper. Ohhh Mama,
they were a challenge but when I finally got that green baby
eatable, I was in a state of heaven each morning when I walked
into my office fully fed on one of my three choices that I fully
developed all by my lonesome.

There was one very industrious move I made. First, I bought
some Spaghetti and some of the Pregnant Sauce for it. Then
I got on the web, ventured to a chat room of older ladies for
safety and asked them all how long should I boil this Spaghetti
I bought. The winning answer was “ Keep throwing a piece
on the wall, when it stops sticking, it’s ready”
Boy, what these ladies learn in life! Amazing!

So, as you see, a Man's cooking got him by just fine till Jane
finally took the art away from him and fed him some honest
to goodness real food.
